Finally, this summer I decided to take a break unlike in the past, during every summer I would be busy with my son taking him for summer camps and doing family trips to India. This year I decided to just relax and, I did have a valid reason for the same but will give you guys the details soon 😉 As of now let me just say I’m happy, healthy and glad I took the 2 month break but now its back to blogging. I did miss blogging but I consciously decided not to do it which was not a great decision but its ok to take a break if you really need it.
I truly enjoyed this summer though I couldn’t take the heat so much and the weather kept me indoors most of the time but I got to spend more time with my son. My husband was busy working this summer so we could only take a break during July for a week. Will be posting about Our amazing Maldivian holiday which was indeed a great getaway from the Dubai climate!
Also the art and craft sessions with my son at home was indeed perfect and I got to spend a lot of quality time with him. Since it was hot outside, I couldn’t put him for swimming classes either as he started developing a rash going out in the sun.
Not to forget the visit from the tooth fairy last month 😀 he was all excited to show his tooth to his grandparents and friends that he ended up losing it. He even wrote a letter to the tooth fairy asking her for a gold coin 😀 and that he’s sorry he lost the tooth. I was so happy that he believes in Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus as many kids these days just don’t believe in such and its sad. I just hope he remains innocent till he’s older to realise that such things don’t exist. Till then, let his imagination run wild 😀
I decided to eat healthy for a few months so I took the flexible package from Simply Healthy Diets after consulting with Mitun De Sarkar, the dietician and owner of Simply Healthy Diet. I’m glad I made this decision as I was following an unhealthy diet the past year and since I have PCOD, it was high time I got my weight and food habits under control. Its been only 2 weeks and I feel less tired, more energetic and positive. My clothes have started to shrink and I feel lighter and healthier.
So much happened this summer that I’m really happy and grateful. Cant wait to share my posts for the coming weeks. Till then love and peace to all!
